For the most part, local young people are very familiar with Ballinglen, having participated in Schools Programmes and workshops as children. Youth Arts has been developed to provide continuity for them as they grow up and start leaving formal art class settings. We provide opportunities for creative thinking, working with adults/artists, making and mixing with friends. Since 2020 a cohesive group of young people have been taking part in all the activities we've offered. The feedback shows us the real need among the participants for creative engagement.
