This exhibition featured works from the Permanent Collection of the Ballinglen Art Foundation. The works were selected by residents, patients and staff at the Sacred Heart Home in Castlebar under the guidance of artist Tom Mescal and the support of Dr. Luke O’Donnell. This Westival / Ballinglen exhibition was presented as an expression of gratitude to the residents, staff and patients of the Sacred Heart Home in Castlebar for the sacrifice they continue to endure during the Covid 19 period. The exhibition marks the presence and the contribution our fellow citizens continue to make even though they live in virtual isolation during this period.
