We have received funding for The Artist and Youth Work Residency from NYCI, (National Youth Council of Ireland). Local artist Alice Dixon will work with a group of young people from Lacken Foroige who have worked here at Ballinglen on creative projects together for a number of years to create a Street Spectacle piece entitled ‘Who am I? Where do we go from here?' They will explore identity and life after lockdown through the creative process that encourages a positive engagement in their surrounding area and in turn to create a sense of empowerment, pride, confidence and inclusion.
