“I work in multiple disciplines. Regardless of media, my preoccupation remains principally about discovering ways to express remembrance and the transience of time using architecture, landscape, liminal space and figurative surrogates. The works that I’m presenting for this exhibition share the ways in which I am expanding traditional conventions to consider photography and its relationship to my larger practice in the context of these themes.” Elise Kaufman, 2026
