Delargy’s disconcerting paintings and prints, invoke environmental concerns, fragility, and loss. These works represent a resource for larger, more expansive paintings which inherently delve into chiaroscuro and tonal. Delargy’s work is concerned with humanity’s relationship with nature. He engages with themes of life, death, transformation, and the environment in the context of engaging with the tactile creative spark.
