We are excited to announce our second Biennial Exhibition: an international open call group exhibition at The Ballinglen Museum of Art, Ballycastle, Co. Mayo, August 2025 - January 2026. This is open to all visual artists worldwide working in paint, drawing, print, sculpture, and photography. Key dates:
- Open for Entry: Thursday May 15th 2025 via the OESS website
- Entry Deadline Date: Wednesday June 25th 2025, 5pm (GMT)
- Selection Notification: Friday August 1st 2025
- Artwork Delivery: Monday August 3rd 2025 - Monday August 18th 2025
- Opening event: Saturday 30th August 2025
- Exhibition Open to Public: Sunday 31st August 2025 - Friday 9th January 2026
Work will be selected by a panel of three well established artists: Mick O’Dea PPRHA, Artist and Ballinglen Arts Foundation Board Member, Artist Nona Hershey and Artist Erik Mattijssen. This Biennial Exhibition marks a significant milestone in our mission to foster creative exchange and artistic innovation. By bringing together a diverse range of artistic voices, we aim to create a dynamic and thought-provoking exhibition that celebrates the richness and diversity of contemporary art.
